Erik Akkersdijk is a Dutch speedcuber. He is one of the top speedcubers in the world, also being one of the most successful ones; he has held 33 world records. He is most notable for his 3x3 world record of 7.08, which stood for over two years, until being beaten by Feliks Zemdegs, his 4x4, 5x5, and megaminx world records.

He invented and published the EG method for 2x2 along with Gunnar Krig. He also invented and published the TuRBo method for 3x3 blindfold solving, and he wrote a megaminx guide optimizing Grant Tregay's method for speed.
